Commitment to Local Communities
Huurre conducts its activities with due consideration for the local communities in which its production sites are located. In this context, the company participates in local initiatives by supporting projects, activities and sponsorships related to its surrounding environment, in accordance with the specific characteristics of each site and within the framework established by the Kingspan Group.
Planet Passionate Communities Funds
Planet Passionate Communities is the community-focused initiative within Kingspan’s global sustainability programme, Planet Passionate. Within this framework, the Planet Passionate Communities Funds has been established to support local initiatives that contribute to community development and are aligned with the global objectives of the Planet Passionate programme.
Through this fund, support is provided to community projects that incorporate social and environmental criteria, recognising the role of people and communities in the development of more responsible and sustainable environments.
Funding Criteria
The Planet Passionate Communities Funds is intended to support local communities connected to production sites. For this purpose, a set of guidelines and eligibility criteria has been defined, which applicant projects must meet in order to be considered for funding.
Projects must be aligned with at least one of the following areas:
- – Support for the conservation, protection or improvement of the physical and natural environment.
- – Contribution to health, wellbeing and physical activity in local communities through leisure activities.
- – Promotion of a safe and sustainable built environment.
- – Support for education and the development of skills among young people.
Support for local charities and charitable events linked to any of the above areas.
Applying for Communities Funds
Individuals or organisations involved in projects that meet the established criteria may apply for funding through the Planet Passionate Community Fund. To do so, the application form must be downloaded, completed and submitted by email to: KIPCommunityFund@kingspan.com
